Building Capacities to Implement Non-structural Mitigation (NSM) in Schools
Under the Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Preparedness theme, the “Building Capacities to Implement Non-structural Mitigation (NSM) in Schools” project with financial and technical support from Save the Children US was implemented in Zhemgang district as a pilot.
In Phase I of the NSM project, Save the Children Bhutan achieved the following;
In September 2019, Save the Children – Bhutan Country Office in partnership with the Ministry of Health launched Prescription to Play (P2P) for 0-3-year-old children with funding from LEGO Foundation. The project was a scale-up of the successful piloting of Building Brains common approach through an approach of playful parenting that complemented the LEGO’s Learning Through Play Framework.
