Prescription to Play: Training for Health Assistants

 

Save the Children in collaboration with the Department of Public Health, Ministry of Health has implemented the Care for Child Development Plus/ Prescription to Play (P2P) project in five western districts and it has been in full swing commencing from October 2021.

USAID donates PPE to Ministry of Health, Royal Government of Bhutan

The USAID, through Save the Children – Bhutan Country Office and Family Health International 360 (FHI 360), donated 100,000 gloves and about 7,000 gowns to the Ministry of Health, Royal Government of Bhutan.

Key population networks and community organizations are strategic to meeting the goals and objectives of HIV prevention and response. Empowering relevant KP networks and CSOs through capacity building and institutional development is important to ensure their ability to participate and contribute to the national HIV prevention and response.

Community based monitoring

Save the Children Bhutan under Sustainability of HIV Services for Key Populations in Asia (SKPA) Global Fund multi-country regional grant facilitated Community Based Monitoring (CBM) process for the first time in the country, in collaboration with the National AIDS and STI Control Program (NACP) and the Key Population networks and CSOs.
