Save the Children participates in the one-day knock-out basketball tournament

 As the winning team from last year’s one-day knock-out basketball tournament, Save the Children organized and participated in the second one-day knock-out tournament- “Partnership for Development” on 23rd May, 2015 at Royal Thimphu College with participants from 11 International Organizations in the country. The main objective of the tournament is to build partnership and increase coordination among the organizations. Save the Children played against SNV however lost to SNV with short of 4 baskets. SNV and UNDP then played the maximum number of matches and went on to the finals. Both the teams had strong players and tried their best. SNV grabbed the rolling trophy for the 2015 one-day knock-out basketball tournament “Partnership for Development with 28 points.
