53% of Children with Disabilities are not in Schools

Lack of awareness, access, and norms are keeping away 53% of children with disabilities away from schools and institutions. And a majority of them are girls. ICT and Technology could help address some of the gaps in helping children with disabilities develop and grow. In partnership with MoE, Save the Children supported a ICT Resource Centre at Gelephu LSS supporting Inclusive Education as part of the ongoing partnership to strengthen Inclusive Education.
