HIV Allocative Efficiency Analysis Consultation Meeting

ཕུརཔ། 25 May 2022

As part of the regional multi-country Sustainability of HIV Services for Key Populations in Asia (SKPA) Program funded by The Global Fund, Save the Children in collaboration with the National HIV/Hepatitis & STI Control Program (NACP), Ministry of Health convened the National Stakeholder Consultation Workshop for HIV Allocative Efficiency Analysis on May 20, 2022. This workshop is to ensure that the analysis responds to the right policy questions concerning national financing of HIV response.

The results from the efficiency analysis are expected to provide practical recommendations that can support the NACP to make the best decisions regarding the allocation of current and future projected budgets across interventions. This can help ensure maximum impact for the investments made for HIV response. The exercise is seen as very timely given the reduction of external funding and the need to ensure sustainable key programs for HIV response. The Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations, Burnet Institute in Australia, and UNAIDS are providing technical support for the analysis.
