ELM refresher training for ECCD facilitators conducted

A seven day Emergent Literacy and Math (ELM) refresher training was conducted at Paro from 1^st July, 2016. The highlights of the training are as follows;

• A two day ELM refresher ToT conducted at Namseychholing resort, Paro from 1^st and 2^nd July, 2016 for 20 trainers (DEOs and School Principals of 10 Districts) facilitated by Sara Dang, Senior Specialist, ECCD from SC US.
• A Roll down training of ECCD facilitators carried out from 4^th to 6^th July, 2016 for 233 ECCD facilitators from 10 Dzongkhags of Zhemgang, Wangduephodrang, Lhuntse, Mongar, Trashigang, Samtse, Chukha, Samdrupjongkhar, Thimphu and Dagana and was facilitated by DEOs and School Principals of 10 Districts.
• One day additional training for Model Centre facilitators done on peer-sharing workshop facilitation skills on 7^th July 2016.
• One day training was also held for Model Centre facilitators to use equipment and tools to develop ELM materials for their ECCD centres on 8^th July, 2016.
