Training on project management and proposal writing for Rainbow Bhutan, Lhak-Sam and Chithuen Phendhey Association staffs and members.

The first phase of a 5-day training on project management and proposal writing for Rainbow Bhutan, Lhak-Sam and Chithuen Phendhey Association staffs and members is ongoing in Punakha. This training is funded by the Global Fund Multi-country project ‘Sustainability of HIV Services for Key Populations in Asia’. The training is facilitated by Mr. Ugyen and Mr. Thinley Wangchuk from Skills Development Institute. 17 participants from the three organizations made up of Program Managers, Finance Officers, peer Counselors/ Outreach workers, Resource mobilization staffs, Farm Associates, Livelihood Centre Managers are in attendance. The main objectives of the training:

  • To strengthen the understanding, knowledge, and skills of participants on project management.
  • To enhance the abilities of participants in developing strong and meaningful proposals.

Hands-on training has been followed than classroom style training for both project management and proposal writing component.

The second phase of the training will also take place in Punakha from 19th -23rd April 2021. At the of second phase of training, it is aimed to develop at least six draft proposals from three organizations.
