Health Equity Matters Delegation Explores PrEP Implementation in Bhutan

 

A delegation from Health Equity Matters led by the Principal Director visited Bhutan in mid of May 2024. HEM is the Principal Recipient of the Global Fund project Sustainability of HIV Services for Key Populations in Southeast Asia (SKPA -2). Save the Children is the Sub-Recipient in Bhutan, partnering closely with the national lead, NACP of the Ministry of Health.

The delegation consisting of PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) experts focused on the roadmap for PrEP implementation in Bhutan in alignment with the World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines and best practices.
