More than 40 doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers from Phuentsholing General Hospital participated in a sensitization program on HIV and key populations.
The program undertaken as part of the Sustainability of HIV Services for Key Population in Asia Program, aimed to increase awareness of the HIV situation, gender and key populations in HIV programming, and the needs and challenges of key populations in the country.

The program was conducted in close collaboration with the National HIV/AIDS & STIs Control Program Ministry of Health, Royal Government of Bhutan, and key population organizations, namely Pride Bhutan: "Celebrating Diversity", Lhak-Sam, Bhutan Network of People Living with HIV and AIDS BNP+,and Chithuen Phendhey Association
