Save the Children International has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as the Global Specialist – Child, Early and Forced Marriage and Unions (CEFMU) Prevention and Response. This role will be a national contract, based in a context where we do programming to prevent and respond to child, early and forced marriage and unions.

The purpose of the Global Specialist – CEFMU Prevention and Response role is to enhance Save the Children’s contribution to ending child, early and forced marriage and unions. This work will include providing thought leadership, technical support and coordination for the rollout of Save the Children’s new Technical Guidance on preventing and responding to CEFMU, mobilizing the organization around a shared vision and strategic approach; with a focus on integrated programming, advocacy, fundraising and research. The post-holder will be the key contact and technical lead for Save the Children’s work on CEFMU, and will co-lead the global Technical Working Group on Ending CEFMU. Additionally, the post-holder will collaborate across teams and functions to strengthen capabilities, systems and approaches for ending CEFMU, and will provide in-country technical leadership and support.
